| This monthly breakfast provides our members with the opportunity to meet business individuals and network with individuals that want to do business locally and learn about what is happening in the Fresno Area. This breakfast is scheduled the last Wednesday of every month and is a fast paced business oriented session that is held at a designated member's facility. The Fresno Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce invites a guest speaker of interest to the business community to discuss a topic for thirty minutes; afterwards, there are individual questions and answers. The average attendance at this breakfast meeting is 70-80 individuals. Making it a success! The duration of the breakfast is 90 minutes, starting at 7:30am with registration and introductions. the cost of the breakfast is $7.00 for General Admission. |

| Fresno, CA – November 13, 2006 – Mexicana Plus will be aimed at providing quality service directly to Mexicana airlines. Mexicana Plus will offer transportation to the Fresno Yosemite International Airport from the following cities: Delano, Tulare, Hanford, Goshen, Dinuba, Selma, Modesto, Merced, Madera and Kerman. The service will have a total of two buses in operation, with a south and north route, therefore improving access to public transportation to the Fresno Airport. Availability and rapid response will make this service unique. |

| Plaza Comunitaria is a center that integrates resources and education for personal and professional growth. The resources offered are destined primarily towards adults, where one or more instructors teach students to utilize resources available to them, such as; computers, videos, television, satellite, online resources, digital library and internet access among others. The learning processes that are generated in this center enrich and improve the different environments where people can advance in their endeavors. The first Plaza Comunitaria opened its doors in the city of Fowler, California in November 10, 2005, and has proven to be very productive as it has been fulfilling its primary purpose of providing educational opportunities to adults as they obtain their primary and/or secondary education certificates accredited through the secretary of public education in Mexico. |

| On October 27, 2006 the Fresno Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce celebrated its annual Wine Tasting event. The highlights of the evente were the scholarships that were awarded to students from CSU, Fresno and Roosevelt High School. This celebration was honored with the presence of Congressman Jim Costa; Jaime Rojas, CHCC President/CEO; Richard Ventura, SFHCC President/CEO; councilmember Henry T. Perea; councilmember Larry Westerlund; Tim Rios (Wells Fargo), FAHCC members, School Board of Officials and representatives from the media including Graciela Moreno (ABC 30). | The FAHCC hosted the first Chamber Night Quarterly Social at Mezcal Bar & Grill on Friday, August 4, 2006. More than 100 members atteded this event, in which different prizes were raffled including a family packet of four airline tickets to any destination in Mexico, donated by Mexicana. Members enjoyed from appetizers, drinks, and music throughout the evening. |

| On April 19-23, rhe Fresno Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Mexican Consulate led a delegation to Oaxaca, Mexico, as guests of Governor Ulises Ruiz Ortiz. The group was comprised of business owners, representatives of corporations, academic professionals, non profit organization leaders, key legislators and fromthe City and County of Fresno, media representatives and diplomats. |

The FAHCC with membership and community support organized this event, held at Super Mercado Mexico. Over 500 individuals attended the event. Everyone was fed with food prepared by Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant. All children present were given a toy, and later participated in a dancing contest for five piñatas, donated by Telemundo.
La CCHAF con el apoyo de la comunidad organizo este evento que se llevo acabo en el Súper Mercado México, en este evento asistieron mas de quinientas personas quienes disfrutaron de la rica comida mexicana preparada por el restaurante mexicano “Los amigos”. Todos los niños ahí presentes recibieron juguetes, después participaron en el concurso de baile para el regalo de cinco piñatas donadas por la cadena televisiva Telemundo.

This breakfast meeting was held on June 29, 2005 at PELCO. The guest speaker for the morning was Dave Toste, Engineering Manager of PELCO, who presented on the Key to Sucess. A plant tour was offered after the breakfast.
Este desayuno se llevo acabo el 29 de junio de 2005 en PELCO. El orador de esta mañana fue Dave Toste, Ingeniero de PELCO, quien presento el tema de “La Llave para el Progreso”. Después del desayuno se dio un recorrido por la planta de PELCO.

The purpose of this yearly event is to provide the Hispanic Community with a celebration where Hispanic families can be educated on key health, cultural and economic issues affecting their lives.
The event was attended nearly by 800 visitors in 2004 and 1,200 in 2005. Local restaurants prepare authentic Mexican food, while businesses distribute important information. Entertainment by local media personalities, contests, raffles of bicycles, and over 800 toys are part of this family day event.
In 2006, the celebration will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2006 from 10:00am- 4:00pm at Calwa Park.
El propósito de este evento anual es de proveer a la comunidad hispana una celebración en donde las familias hispanas son educadas en salud, cultura y economía, que afecta sus vidas. A este evento asistieron más de ochocientas personas en el 2004 y mil doscientas personas en el 2005. Los restaurantes locales preparan comida típica mexicana mientras que los negocios aportan información importante relacionada con los temas que ahí se presentan. Así mismo los medio de comunicación preparan entretenimiento para la audiencia con rifas de bicicletas y mas de ochocientos juguetes que son distribuidos durante el evento. En el 2006, dicho evento se llevara acabo el sábado 22 de abril de 2006 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. en le Parque Calwa. |

The main purpose of this event is to recognize migrant students at California State University, Fresno (CSUF). Students are awarded with a scholarship of $1,000.00 each, and a computer. These students do not qualify for state and federal financial assistance and are very happy to receive a helping hand. At the same time the FAHCC recognizes individuals and businesses that have impacted the community with positive changes.
El mayor propósito de este evento es galardonar a los estudiantes migrantes de la Universidad Estatal de Fresno con becas de $1000 y una computadora. Estos estudiantes no reciben ayuda financiera, por lo tanto son muy felices al recibir esta ayuda económica. Al mismo tiempo La Cámara de Comercio Hispano del Area de Fresno reconoce a las personas y negocios quienes han hecho un cambio positivo a la comunidad. |
