Chamber History
The Fresno Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (FAHCC) was formed in early 2001, by Ricardo Flores, Antonio Valtierra, Herb Goffstein, David Mendez, Elida Gutierrez, Alberto Martinez, and Jaime Marquez. These Fresno residents saw the need to come together to form an entity that would serve the business community in accomplishing its goals towards business growth, high quality of life and community independence. The FAHCC is comprised of local business owners, economic development members, educators, media, community based organization leaders and decision makers with one common goal: To develop strategies and set policies to better serve all business interests in the Fresno area. The FAHCC is now an organization that is distinguished in the Central San Joaquin Valley for bilingual access to
resources in the community, unity and credibility.

La Cámara de Comercio Hispana del Area de Fresno se formo a principios del 2001, por Ricardo Flores, Antonio Valiterra, Herb Goffstein, David Mencez, Elida Gutiérrez, Alberto Martínez y Jaime Márquez. Estos residentes de Fresno vieron la necesidad de formar una entidad que ayude a los negocios hispanos de la comunidad a lograr sus metas de crecimiento. La CCHAF esta comprometida con dueños de negocios locales, miembros del desarrollo de la economía, educadores y medios de comunicación para un mismo propósito que es el beneficio de la comunidad. La CCHAF es ahora una organización que se distingue en El Valle de San Joaquín por el acceso bilingüe a los recursos de la comunidad.
