News & Traffic Reporter- Clear Channel Radio Fresno is looking for a News and Traffic Reporter to write and deliver news and traffic reports on seven of our radio stations. This person will also be responsible for hosting and producing a weekly one-hour Public Affairs program.
Prior on-air and/or reporting experience is required, journalism training and experience preferred. Applicants must be computer savvy, able to work under tight deadlines and familiar with streets in the Fresno area. This is a full-time position, working a split shift (4-9A and 3-6P) daily.

MARKET CONTROLLER- Clear Channel Radio Fresno is accepting resumes for the position of Market Controller. This position is a valuable partner in leading our market to success; assisting Sales and Programming with information and resources to achieve our market goals. Focused on all financial matters for the market, the Controller is responsible for the reporting and analysis of financial results for the market as well as safeguarding market assets. In addition, the Controller partners with management to ensure personnel action plans and recruitment practices reflect company policy and initiatives in order to protect the interests of the employee, the company and our job candidates.
Responsibilities for this position include:
·Directly supervise G&A department in accordance with Clear Channel’s policies and procedures. Includes hiring, training and review of accounting staff.
·Responsible for monthly financial close, maintenance of the general ledger, reconciliation of accounts and analysis of the costs and explanations of the variance to budget and actual.
·Responsible for all aspects of budgeting and forecasting. Construct annual income statement and capital budgets, present to executive management and make changes as necessary. Prepare monthly forecasts issued to executive management and monitor actual results against budget and forecast.
·Review accounts payable, payroll, cash receipts, credit and collections, trade, accounts receivable and billing activity.
·Ensure all financial deadlines and due dates are met in a timely manner. Includes but is not limited to monthly financial close, budget and forecast submissions, sales tax returns, vendor payments and employee obligations (paychecks, terminations and expense reports).
·Administration of all Human Resource/Personnel compliance functions for the market, including FCC-EEO Reporting, CC Affirmative Action Plan, CC Diversity Plan and other CC initiatives.
·Act as a liaison between the market and the corporate office regarding business issues involving financial, personnel and some legal issues.
·Responsible for financial functions of radio stations. Informs executive management of risk and exposure issues. Works with other departments to effectively carry our instructions of executive management. Also performs cost analysis as needed or requested by executive management.
The qualified candidate will have a minimum 5 years accounting experience and 3 years supervisory experience, a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required. CPA preferred. Must possess advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Outlook, Word and accounting software. The candidate must also maintain excellent time management and leadership skills, with ability to work under time constrains and meet deadlines.
